MEAN WELL: New versions of HRP 150N/300N/600N series with 200% peak power

The AC DC power supplies, HRP series, are already widely used in the industrial controls sector thanks to their excellent performance and 5-year warranty.

Starting today, the new HRP/N versions can also be effectively used for motor power supply, thanks to a 200% peak power for 5 seconds, which along with the constant current output protection allows to easily overcome the issues of normal power supplies.

This means that for 5 seconds, models with nominal power of 150W/300W/600W can deliver peak powers of up to 300W/600W/1200W and start all electromagnetic loads.

The offered output voltages include 12V/24V/36V/48V.

In the past, it was necessary to purchase a power supply with double the power to correctly power motors during their start-up phase, but this resulted in not only high costs but also larger dimensions and weight.

The new HRP series has overcome this issue for all electromagnetic applications such as motors, pumps, actuators, coffee machines, note counters, etc.; users will no longer need to spend money on oversized and unnecessarily large power supplies.
