New Mean Well HEP-1000-W Series with IP67 wiring for challenging environments 2021

Introduction

MEAN WELL has launched the new HEP-1000W series for power supply in challenging environments.
The new series differentiates itself from the previous HEP-1000 series by adopting waterproof cables compliant with the IP67 standard between the input and output.

The specifications allow this series to be used in:

• Outdoor equipment or in high humidity or high dust environments
• 4G / 5G communication equipment
• Laser machines and related products for charging

The HEP-1000 series adopts the exclusive MEAN WELL design that is fully protected and filled with high-quality silicone gel.
The exclusive design allows components to effectively dissipate heat and prevents failures caused by high levels of dust and humidity in the environment.

The new HEP-1000W series is capable of reducing overall maintenance costs by ensuring the stable and reliable operation of the equipment.

The HEP-1000-W series is also designed with power and charging functions.

With the programmable voltage and constant current function (PV / PC), by applying a DC voltage of 0 ~ 5, the output voltage can be adjusted over a wide range from 50% to 125% and the constant current from 20% to 100%.
