UNIPOWER LLC, a world-leading provider of industrial AC and DC power systems, is launching the release of the new Bravo modular inverter system family.
The Bravo inverters offer a particularly efficient modular solution, using 2.5kVA 120VAC or 3kVA 230VAC hot-swap inverter modules.
The Bravo ECI and TSI models are compact 2U rack inverters (3.5 inches in height) and can be configured with a maximum of four 2.5kVA modules for a total of 10kVA in 2U.
The new Bravo models have different features to enhance their performance: firstly, the units can be connected in parallel to increase the overall system power, the hot-swappable modules can be configured with N+1 redundancy, and they provide an additional AC input to ensure high overall efficiencyenergy loss and heat dissipation.
"Our new Bravo ECI and TSI inverters offer a high level of modularity, reliability, efficiency, compactness, and cost savings that align perfectly with our product commitment to our customers," said John Ely, UNIPOWER's Vice President of Marketing. "We are very excited to offer the Bravo line that provides a flexible and scalable power solution for a variety of telecommunication, utility, and industrial applications."
Both are capable of converting 48V DC into a pure sine wave 120V AC or 230V AC output. The outputs can also be configured to provide single-phase, dual-phase, or three-phase AC power.
This new technology (Bravo ECI) is able to eliminate all individual failure points with full scalability up to 32 modules in parallel and high efficiency up to 96% and above 93.5% in DC/AC conversion, thus minimizing oper
