Modified Sine Wave Inverter with Soft Start
Converts the Continuous Voltage of 12Vdc from the Battery to Alternating Voltage at 230V.

The modified sine wave is a stepped waveform, designed to have an almost pure sinusoidal wave similar to that of the domestic power line.
This type of wave is suitable for providing the energy needed for most electrical and electronic applications and devices such as incandescent lamps, radios, computers and notebooks, televisions, VCRs, video games, microwave ovens, etc.
The modified sine wave is definitely better than the square wave provided by other types of inverters on the market.
Thanks to the new Soft-Start technology used by the latest generation of inverters, the internal circuit of the inverter, before providing output voltage, checks the load connected to it, and only if the required power and load type are suitable, the 220V AC output is enabled.
This control operation takes about 10 seconds, after which the output voltage is increased according to a ramp graph from 0V to 220V quickly. In this way, current spikes that could cause damage to the inverter and electrical disturbances on the line are avoided.
Soft-Start technology is essential when used with inductive loads (refrigerators, electric tools or electric motors in general) which, at startup, require a high current.
